A short of the Goodfeathers, and the resource for the powerpoint, can be viewed below:
A useful powerpoint is shown below that answers Questions 1 and 2 (representation, narrative etc) in sufficient detail and analysis:
Question 3. Is there a tradition, which relates to the studio/producer in question. In other words, just like we look at the conventions of genres, do studios/institutions also have conventions or trademarks associated with their brand identity?
Every studio/producer has certain traits that are common throughout all of their productions, they can be completely different in genre but the way they are made will be similar and they could possibly have the same themes if they are what the studio/producer believes. I find that in the Animaniacs animations there are common themes and character traits throughout all of them. Some of these are stupidity (having distinguished smarter characters as a leader) and also the use of heavily dramatized slapstick actions such as the characters getting run over, trodden on or falling from heights without sustaining injury – or the injuries are removed in the following scenes.
Question 4. What is the relevance of film animation to our society and why is there an industry and various institutions devoted to the production of these products?
Film animation is important because it provides us with a means to escape our life and be a child again and for a child it provides entertainment and structure in everyday life. It also gives us the chance to be creative and imaginative which is important because it allows us to be able to channel our thoughts and feelings out in a clear way that can be seen by lots of people.Question 5. Finally, are there any other organization’s who feed off the product you have analyzed for Q2? (Think of other media forms) If so, who benefits from the alliance and is this a form of media synergy?
There are of other types of media and organization’s and single people that benefit from the Animaniacs one of them is Amblin studies which produced it and another is Steven Spielberg himself. Both of them will have there name become more well known. This two are not the only people that will benefit from the animanics lots of advertising companies will because they can advertise other companies in between the adverts and other companies that produce toys they can sell merchandise of characters seen in the Animaniacs.
Any questions, you can contact Joe who is very fond of The Animaniacs as well as Zack who could be considered a 'The Godfather' expert
